Four kegs of beer in the river
Some idiots decided to throw four beer kegs into the River Martin in Blarney over the weekend. I saw them last night and they’re still there this morning unfortunately.

The road in front is in bad shape but it’s still busy inside.

All washed out
Cork city is a lot dryer this evening and the streets are extra clean. I suspect there’s a corner somewhere where the floods pushed all the dirt and other bits of rubbish.. Not that Cork was dirty before but it’s like someone went through it with a broom, sweeping up everything.

Lovely morning
I saw the most amazing scene. Rising sun, fog and the silhouette of a dead tree with Blarney castle in the background. I was driving so this is all I got. Roll on the robot drivers I say!

Sitting in the shadows of giants
It’s a roasting day but we’re sitting behind people who are standing up and offering us shade from the hot sun. 🙂 We’re at the Bruce Springsteen concert in cork, waiting for him to appear on stage!
